 Desktop editie, switch naar Mobiele editie Lafete May 12th & Fantasy Island May 15th: where were you?! door Joyce: Why do my friends get ecstatically aroused while talking about Lafete? Seriously, I don’t get it [thankfully we have other interests in common]. My first & most likely LAST Lafete attendance turned out to be one I’d rather forget. Club Air was packed with face-cake-layered dollies [20-30 years old] who gave other girls the arrogant look & slick almost-exact-copies-of-each-other guys, although ‘normal’ people like us were also represented :P None of them had that inviting 'yes, please come and talk to me-vibe' and I thank God that my dear friends were there to support me. Someone told me there’s a dancefloor downstairs, but as I was trying to find my way through the thick crown, with my armpits, upper-lip and cleavage were drippin’ of sweat - I couldn’t find anyone dancing.. Too bad we didn’t get the chance to discover what else Air had to offer [we left agitated and bored after only 2 hours], but it does appear to be promising! Lockers operated by using your Club Air-creditcard and no hassle with cash while paying for drinks. Soon, you will be able to check your creditcard-balance and see how many mojitos or champagne you’ve ordered in total! Next stop: Fantasy Island, an outdoor festival in Hulsbeek/Oldenzaal [Twente]. We were invited by ExPornStar to come and have a sneak peak. Bluffing our way to the nearest CREW parking lot turned out to be peanuts. No joking, but we were amazed and shocked to discover that the difference between partypeople in Noord Holland and Twente is huge! What an awfull taste in clothing! Fair enough: most of the guys and girls we spoke to were superduper-sweet though. The recreational area used for this event was organised properly and large enough to hold the thousands of wasted nutcases. Fun detail: the mini-fair a.k.a.
